The role

The successful candidate will be exposed to many aspects of the Management Company and its funds and will also play an important role in ensuring the oversight and governance framework is implemented and maintained.

  • Responsible for the day to day oversight for a portfolio of funds, likely to include hedge funds, equity long-only, fixed income and other investment strategies
  • Handle the oversight and review of the day-to-day operations of the funds by working with various parties, including portfolio managers and fund administrators
  • Prepare fund expense payment cycles, review fund budgets and TERs
  • Contribute towards the timely and accurate accounting and NAV reporting for funds which is prepared by the fund administrator but overseen by our Operations and Finance team.
  • Support the audit process and help coordinate the audits in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously while contributing to team effort at all times.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Pro-actively take on additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary.

The requirements

  • University degree in a related and relevant subject
  • Good experience in an asset / investment management firm or similar relevant experience
  • Qualification or part qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CAIA or similar would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work individually but also as a part of a team is important.
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in engaging with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
  • Highly detail-oriented self-starter
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Building and extending our market presence and influence as a thought leader
  • The activities we undertake (sponsorships, industry events, mainstream/targeted media, marketing campaigns and lead generation)
  • Our positioning (advertising, social media presence, press and marketing)
  • Showcasing our experts as sought-after speakers who shape the conversation
  • Driving innovation in our marketing that matches and reinforces the innovation of our ecosystem
  • To support our ambitious growth targets through the delivery of marketing campaigns that raise awareness of AMX in the market
  • This role will report to the Head of Brand & Client Experience and will play a key role in driving AMX towards its ambition of being the central connection within the new investment ecosystem.

In your role, you will: 

  • Develop a consistent brand experience that is closely aligned to our client experience
  • Drive the direction of our strategy to build brand value and manage execution of all workflows to achieve that strategy
  • Influence and lead brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels, flagging any areas of concern
  • As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will work with the Head of Brand & Client Experience to:
  • Lead the evolution of our brand to ensure our brand supports the AMX vision:
    • Manage the transition and adoption of our evolved brand. Ensure and influence internal alignment on and adherence to the new brand.
    • Develop the brand plan and roadmap to raise awareness of AMX in the minds of our target audience(s).
    • Be the “Centre of Excellence” for brand and coordinate cross-functionally to ensure consistency in brand-related decisions.
    • Be the "brand guardian", maintaining brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications
    • Identify, implement, and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact of activities, initiatives and campaigns on brand
  • Execute and deliver on plans designed to grow our brand and to attract new partners to the ecosystem.
  • Manage the budget for brand-experience related initiatives and manage vendor and supplier relationships and industry partnerships as they pertain to brand.

  • An experienced marketing professional with a deep understanding of the importance of brand and strong desire to create an exceptional brand that is widely recognised in the market
  • You bring a fresh perspective on how to reach our audiences to get and keep the AMX brand front of mind
  • Outstanding project management skills and detail-oriented but also getting the bigger picture.
  • Action-oriented and full of initiative, bringing enthusiasm and new ideas
  • Be a team player who is willing to roll up your sleeves and dive in
