Marketing Associate

We are looking for a Marketing Associate to support in the execution and management of the  marketing efforts for AMX.

The scope of this role covers marketing content, campaign management and digital marketing as well as engagement with other teams within AMX in delivering marketing activities.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the role holder will have active contact with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. You will need to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and, develop a good understanding of the business. 

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, having lots of projects on the go and wants to get involved in a growing, and changing, business while developing their marketing skills. 

The role 

  • Campaign management: Managing campaign activity to ensure timeliness, budget control and collation and analysis of metrics post-campaign.
  • Event management: Managing logistics of marketing events (industry conferences, AMX’s own events, webinars and podcasts).
  • Marketing and Sales collateral: Work with content marketing manager and solutions team in the production of marketing and sales collateral  – presentations, fund profiles, articles  – ensuring they are delivered on brand, on time and on budget. This will involve working with internal and external agencies.
  • Marketing operations:
    • Managing suppliers including ensuring contracts are reviewed by our legal team and marketing budget tracker is up to date (invoices received, checked, and processed) etc.
    • Collation of marketing metrics/KPIs into central dashboard.
    • Support of content distribution via the Seismic platform - uploading documents and supporting the platform’s usage.
    • Managing the monthly submission of marketing materials to Compliance and ensuring any actions are implemented.
  • Supporting with internal communications: Ensuring teams within AMX are kept in touch with marketing activities, communicating AMX/Marketing successes, and ensuring marketing processes (e.g., Seismic and HubSpot new features etc.) are communicated.
  • Working with the digital marketing lead/marketing team, including:
    • Implementing day-to-day content distribution across website, LinkedIn, Twitter.
    • Build emails for marketing distribution (using Hubspot) – and report on results.

The requirements 

  • Strong communications skills, self-motivated and organised, with ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good numeracy and written English skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to think logically and enjoy resolving challenges in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Team player who is flexible and adaptable across a range of tasks, able to forge relationships and credibility quickly and effectively.
  • Digital and social media experience an advantage.
  • Marketing qualification or degree preferred.

Onboarding & Transitions

This role will be part of the AMX client experience team which aims to deliver best in class service, and you will also collaborate across the AMX business to further develop our onboarding processes to ensure our clients are provided a smooth and efficient transition process.  This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that is developing its client experience vision and strategy to deliver an incredible, seamless experience to our investors.

The role 

  • Primarily responsible for supporting the onboarding and transitions manager with the take-on process for pooled fund investors
  • Proactively liaising with all parties both externally and internally to ensure a smooth and efficient transition process. This includes custodians, transition managers and client consultants
  • Work collaboratively with other functional areas of AMX
  • Liaise with AMX’s appointed Administrator(s) to arrange for the set-up of client portfolios and ensuring that the necessary linkages are in place from an operational perspective.
  • Establish servicing and operating processes with the client’s appointed third party representatives.
  • Support the process of sending regular, clear and detailed updates to the business with regards to the status of on-going transition activity.
  • Conduct post-transition evaluation and hand-over meetings with the relevant departments internally.
  • Set-up of client portfolios, internal funds and other records on AMX’s internal CRM systems.
  • On-going maintenance of static information within AMX internal systems in relation to client portfolios and internal funds

The requirements 

  • Proven experience of working in an onboarding function
  • Previously worked in implementation teams in consultancy firms or in onboarding/transition teams for an asset manager.
  • High level of attention to detail applied to all tasks – excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to build relationships with our investors, managers and partners.
  • Positive attitude, initiative and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment for the timely and successful onboarding and transition of new clients onto the AMX Platform, including the co-ordination of existing clients into new AMX funds.
  • Proactive attitude that will rise to the challenge of taking a role within the Client Experience team, with a focus on investor onboarding.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to respond to changing situations and priorities with a high sense of ownership, urgency and drive.

Lead Associate - Business Development

The role 

  • Support client meetings by working with sales and marketing to create and tailor presentations
  • Attend internal client meetings, as requested, and translate meeting notes into actionable follow-up activities and provide proactive follow-up
  • Develop and monitor Sales metrics and KPI’s, and ensure the data is accurate and up-to-date
  • Liaise with and support account managers to develop specific sales strategies
  • Provide on-going and just-in-time client information to account teams by proactively monitoring Internet sites and industry materials for newsworthy items, and communicating to account teams accordingly
  • Preparing account specific research to uncover potential business issues, points of entry, researching new buyer hubs, tracking key client stakeholders, updating client organisation charts and developing buyer’s maps
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure the sales team is adequately informed
  • Help awareness, adoption and usage of sales tools within Business Development

The requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Working towards a relevant professional qualification (for example IMC or CFA)
  • Experience working in an investment management and related discipline
  • Demonstrable strong research and project management skills
  • Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders, colleagues and other interested parties
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative problem solver
  • Ability to produce consistently high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Resourceful, proactive self-starter with the ability to think ahead
  • Outstanding technical skill in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Access a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise with PowerPoint charts and graphs
  • Previous experience in a similar sales support role and/or in a professional services environment is a plus

Client Services Associate

The role

  • Day-to-day service delivery for existing AMX partners – investors, managers and service providers
  • Manage, coordinate and respond to incoming queries in accordance with servicing KPIs
  • Support the development and delivery of AMXConnect as the key delivery vehicle to provide client reporting and data, including institutional reports, factsheets, regulatory reporting, distribution agreements and ad-hoc requests.
  • Manage reporting/audit requests
  • Active participation in the testing of system enhancements.
