The purpose of the role

Support our ambitious sales growth targets through the delivery of marketing campaigns and initiatives that generate marketing qualified leads for the sales team to convert into qualified sales opportunities.

This role will report to the Head of Brand & Client Experience and will work closely with sales on delivery and implementation. 

What you'll do

In your role, you will be responsible for generating leads by developing and executing the go-to-market marketing strategy. This will include:

  • Working closely with the sales team to identify the target market - by region, institutional audience type, e.g., pension scheme/insurance/boutique manager), size, individual decision-making responsibility
  • Identifying the target audience and expanding the audience contact list over and above known targets using external databases if/when necessary
  • Identifying and prioritising events and publications that provide access to the defined target market for lead generation purposes
  • Developing messaging frameworks underpinning campaigns that are solution focused and aligned to brand.
  • Work with your marketing partners to deliver including:
    • Content marketing manager and external writers to develop relevant and timely content that will generate leads
    • Digital marketing team on web, social and email aspects of campaigns
    • Planning and execution of GTM related events
  • Identify, implement, and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact of all initiatives
  • Monitoring and reporting of lead generation throughout the funnel

You will: 

  • Have experience in the investment management industry, particularly with asset managers, asset owners and pensions consultants.

Marketing Associate

We are looking for a Marketing Associate to support in the execution and management of the  marketing efforts for AMX.

The scope of this role covers marketing content, campaign management and digital marketing as well as engagement with other teams within AMX in delivering marketing activities.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the role holder will have active contact with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. You will need to build strong working relationships with stakeholders and, develop a good understanding of the business. 

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, having lots of projects on the go and wants to get involved in a growing, and changing, business while developing their marketing skills. 

The role 

  • Campaign management: Managing campaign activity to ensure timeliness, budget control and collation and analysis of metrics post-campaign.
  • Event management: Managing logistics of marketing events (industry conferences, AMX’s own events, webinars and podcasts).
  • Marketing and Sales collateral: Work with content marketing manager and solutions team in the production of marketing and sales collateral  – presentations, fund profiles, articles  – ensuring they are delivered on brand, on time and on budget. This will involve working with internal and external agencies.
  • Marketing operations:
    • Managing suppliers including ensuring contracts are reviewed by our legal team and marketing budget tracker is up to date (invoices received, checked, and processed) etc.
    • Collation of marketing metrics/KPIs into central dashboard.
    • Support of content distribution via the Seismic platform - uploading documents and supporting the platform’s usage.
    • Managing the monthly submission of marketing materials to Compliance and ensuring any actions are implemented.
  • Supporting with internal communications: Ensuring teams within AMX are kept in touch with marketing activities, communicating AMX/Marketing successes, and ensuring marketing processes (e.g., Seismic and HubSpot new features etc.) are communicated.
  • Working with the digital marketing lead/marketing team, including:
    • Implementing day-to-day content distribution across website, LinkedIn, Twitter.
    • Build emails for marketing distribution (using Hubspot) – and report on results.

The requirements 

  • Strong communications skills, self-motivated and organised, with ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good numeracy and written English skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to think logically and enjoy resolving challenges in collaboration with colleagues.

  • Digital and social media experience an advantage.

Associate - Fund Oversight

The role

The successful candidate will be exposed to many aspects of the Management Company and its funds and will also play an important role in ensuring the oversight and governance framework is implemented and maintained.

  • Responsible for the day to day oversight for a portfolio of funds, likely to include hedge funds, equity long-only, fixed income and other investment strategies
  • Handle the oversight and review of the day-to-day operations of the funds by working with various parties, including portfolio managers and fund administrators
  • Prepare fund expense payment cycles, review fund budgets and TERs
  • Contribute towards the timely and accurate accounting and NAV reporting for funds which is prepared by the fund administrator but overseen by our Operations and Finance team.
  • Support the audit process and help coordinate the audits in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously while contributing to team effort at all times.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Pro-actively take on additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary.

The requirements

  • University degree in a related and relevant subject
  • Good experience in an asset / investment management firm or similar relevant experience
  • Qualification or part qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, CAIA or similar would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work individually but also as a part of a team is important.

Lead Full Stack Web Developer

The role 

AMX is looking for a Lead Full Stack web developer well versed in delivering client facing web applications for financial services. The right candidate would have 10+ years of experience working at a financial services company (bank or asset manager) or a company selling digital or financial applications to finance services customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate to be a founding member of the team and have a prime role in influencing the tech stack and operation of web applications in a fast growing, innovative and successful business.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement and support highly scalable front-end applications and backend systems or web services
  • Practitioner of current OWASP best practice
  • Knowledgeable about current dev ops best practice
  • Working knowledge of designing, configuring, deploying and managing Azure cloud.  Ideally is a Microsoft certified Azure DevOps engineer, administrator.

Senior Data Ops Engineer

The role 

AMX is looking for a Senior Data Ops Engineer who can establish a modern function and data architecture from the ground up within AMX. Within this role you are expected to establish the Operation for data at AMX which includes a broad spectrum of data services that drives reporting and transactions for a diverse community of financial institutions. You will have a key role in hiring a team, establishing infrastructure and processes that enable trusted and reliable data delivery to multiple endpoints and use cases. This is a hands-on role, reporting to the Chief Data Officer and the right candidate will have an expert knowledge of data within the capital markets domain, be our expert on data models / schema and transforms. Part of your role will be planning the modernisation of the current ETL processes into an ELT/Big Data architecture and creating an environment ready for Data Scientists to operate in. You will also help define the Data Marketplace infrastructure used to share data with AMX clients.

You should possess the following essential skills:

  • 7+ years’ experience of working in the finance sector
  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience with software engineering (testing, documentation, software development lifecycle, source control, …)
  • Demonstrated experience with DevOps tools and concepts (e.g. Jira, GitLabs / Jenkins / Azure DevOps / …) •
  • Demonstrated experience with common distributed data tools in a production setting (Spark, Kafka, etc) •

QA Analyst

We are looking for a test analyst who is responsible for designing, developing and executing tests on AMX Connect.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse requirements ensuring they are for fit for purpose and testable, in order to design tests to explicitly test the desired project outcomes (working collaboratively with the wider SIS Programme team and external vendors)
  • Work with the Test Manager/Lead to identify any testing-related risks, issues and dependencies and manage escalations appropriately to ensure resolution.
  • Create comprehensive and well-defined test scripts that are traceable back to requirements.
  • Execution of functional, regression and integration test scripts
  • Ensure regression testing is performed in a manner that recognizes the risks of introducing defects into the environment.
  • Responsible for day-to-day test execution and bug resolution.
  • Provide support during UAT test events working closely with the team to resolve issues.

The requirements 

You should possess the following essential technical skills:

  • 2+ years software testing experience
  • Experience working in Agile environment
  • Experience reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Experience defining test scope based on functional and technical specifications.

Lead Associate – Service Provider Due Diligence

The successful candidate will be exposed to many aspects of the Management Company and its funds and will also play an important role in ensuring the service provider oversight and governance framework is implemented and maintained.

  • Conduct initial review and analysis of operational due diligence questionnaires on service providers appointed by the Management Company, including Portfolio Managers, Investment Advisors, Fund Administrators and other key delegates
  • Perform ongoing oversight on appointed service providers, partaking in due diligence review meetings, tracking risk events and resulting actions
  • Produce and present high-quality due diligence reports which include clear, concise opinions
  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of service providers on the AMX online due diligence platform
  • Production of operational due diligence and operational risk reporting for internal and external governance committees
  • Managing service provider risk events, assist with the review, assessment, analysis and oversight of incidents and resulting action plans
  • Responsible for drafting and updating team procedures on an ongoing basis
  • Manage assigned projects to completion, which may involve engagement with internal groups located in multiple regions including the UK, and the United States
